Here's a hint from the article: Be sure to save all your scraps of sterling silver and fine silver that are too small to use in your jewelry.Some jewelry suppliers and metal mills accept scrap silver, which you can usually exchange for cash or credit toward future metal purchases.

Now that all the background it out of the way, I'll let you know what I think of this book. In a word: fabulous. The projects are fun and creative. The instructions are clear and easy-to-follow. The photographs are crisp and concise. Do I recommend the book? You bet! The Table of Contents below will give you an idea of the variety of projects featured in the book.
